Visy Hi hi all..! Haha today's been fun so far. I went to east coast to cycle with my family. It wasn't hot at all even though i got all red and sunburnt. However, i have a bad experience to share with you guys.You see, I rented my bicycle from Kit Runners, located near Marine Cove. We went there because, firstly, it was near where my father parked his car. Secondly, the price was reasonable and when you rented a bike for an hour, they gave you another for free(the same as Cycland,near Mc's). Well, i took this bike which looked normal, except for maybe the handles, which look a little too worn out, it was still ok. I mean , the brakes were working, the pedals were still there, there was a decent small bottle holder on the bottom, what more can a little boy ask for? XD we went cycling happily for the first 20 minutes and my mom asked for a "pit stop". I cycled over the pedestrian pavement and voila, my handle broke..! I was practically shouting at my sis in chinese, "Wait! My handle broke!" sadly, the handle couldn't be fitted back. We decided to go back to the kiosk. I had to ride one hand on the left side, and the other holding the broken handle. I made it back within 15 minutes and they gave me a new one(they looked reluctant). And so, we went back cycling again with 1 hour left. However, the bike i got was yet again, faulty. Whenever i pedaled hard, the gears of the bike would change and i would slip off the pedal(very dangerous) and sometimes lose control. Luckily, i didn't fall off but instead, continued to ride. I recommend you guys to rent bikes from Cycland cause its smaller in size, which means, they really get to maintain their bikes. Kit Runners is a HUGE store, and i'm guessing it might have around, 200 bikes and 100 pairs of roller blades?! lol they've got a bigger store, but the maintenance is inferior compared to the smaller shop. Anyway, tomorrow will be my first day at school..! I'm neither excited, nor am i nervous. In fact, i'm feeling neutral. I don't really look forward to going to school. However, if i get to change my group and meet new friends, i'll be really grateful. I definitely don't wish to get the same team members i got during orientation(maybe just change 2 of them). >.< I'll just update what happened tomorrow in my school in this blog, after i get back home. =) Ciao.!
